When does Aniimo release?

Aniimo releases on September 16, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The iOS and Android versions follow exactly one week later, on September 23, 2026. That split is unusual for a creature-collecting RPG: the desktop and console audience gets a full week of progression before mobile players can log in for the first time.

The developer, Pawprint Studio, has not published a per-region unlock table. What follows is the confirmed date and platform list, plus what is still unknown — separated clearly, so you can tell the two apart.

Is Aniimo out yet?

Not as of September 14, 2026. PC and console players are two days out; mobile players are nine days out.

Because the launch is this close, treat any page that still describes Aniimo as “unreleased with no date” as stale — the date has been locked since the Global Launch announcement, and pre-orders are already live on the console stores.

When does Aniimo unlock on launch day?

This is the one detail nobody has published yet. Pawprint Studio has not shared an unlock hour, a rolling regional schedule, or a “launch at midnight local time” promise.

Two patterns are common for a global launch of this shape, and they behave very differently:

• Local midnight per region — each storefront flips at 00:00 in that region’s time zone. Europe plays hours before North America.
• Single global unlock — one moment worldwide, usually expressed in UTC and therefore early morning or late evening depending on where you are.

Until the developer says which one applies, the reliable move on September 16 is to open your platform’s store page — the button changes from a countdown to Play the moment the unlock happens. Bookmark this page: the exact time gets filled in here as soon as it is official.

Which platforms is Aniimo on?

Five platforms are confirmed, spanning three families:

• PC — Steam and Epic Games Store
• Console — PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S
• Mobile — iOS and Android

Can you preload Aniimo?

Preload has not been confirmed platform-wide. What is known:

• Steam — preload is standard for releases this size. Expect the download to open in the final 48 hours before launch, i.e. around September 14–15.
• PS5 / Xbox Series X|S — preload normally becomes available once the store listing shows a download size. Neither store has published one yet.
• Mobile — iOS and Android builds usually go live at the same moment as the unlock, with no advance preload.

What to do before launch day

Four things worth doing in the remaining two days:

1. Wishlist it on your main platform. Wishlisting is what triggers a store notification at unlock, which is more reliable than refreshing a page.
2. Decide your platform now, not at unlock. The mobile build arrives a week later, and there is no announced cross-progression transfer between them yet — so if you want to play on day one, PC or console is the choice.
3. Check your storage. Full install sizes are not published for console yet; expect a modern open-world footprint rather than a small one.
